From Tape Findings. Heard about this awesome resource on Jarvis Cocker’s 6 Music show. I could easily have added any of the hundreds of found sounds here so I’ve made an arbitrary choice: ‘kids radio DJs’, apparently recorded in 1973 – making the kids, by my guess, about my age. MP3.

I used to play on the tape recorder with my brother when I was younger. It’s an inevitable thing to do when you are 5, 6 or 7 or older. It’s so much fun.
I was born in 1973 and I would say the ages of these children are now probably 44 or 45
